Older adults are susceptible to hip and pelvis injuries from slips, trips and falls. With age and use, the cartilage can wear down or become damaged. Muscles and tendons in the hip can get overused. Hip and pelvis injuries are also common sports injuries, workplace injuries, and home injuries.
