Education

Undergraduate: UC Davis, B.S. in International Agricultural Development

Graduate: Touro University, MS in Physician Assistant Studies/Touro University, MPH in Global Health

Emma Williams completed her Physician Assistant (PA) Studies and a Masters in Public Health (MPH) with an emphasis on global health at Touro University in Vallejo, California, and her undergraduate studies at UC Davis. She also has a background in wilderness medicine and is a wilderness first responder.  

Emma is passionate about her job. She has always been active in sports and recreation, so she found orthopedic surgery to be a perfect fit for her. She likes the dynamic and diverse nature of trauma and the ability to take a medical problem and tangibly make it better.

Emma is a dual citizen (New Zealand) and is originally from Oakland, California. When not at work, she loves to play outside–backcountry skiing, mountain biking, and trail running, especially when she can bring her Shepherd-mix dog, Huck.
